Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted ironically to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's call to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Axar.az reports that Zelensky made a comparison with Bashar Assad, the deposed president of Syria who fled to Russia.

"We all hope that Viktor Orbán will at least call Moscow and not listen to Assad's one-hour lectures. It is quite clear that achieving real peace and guaranteed security will require the determination of the United States, the European Union and the commitment of all partners to adhere to the goals and principles of the UN Charter. demands," Zelensky stressed.

He also urged politicians not to play with their image at the expense of unity, but to take care of common success.

It should be noted that today Orban called the Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
