Turkiye has been implementing security measures along its border with Syria since 2017.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Turkiye's Minister of National Defense, Yashar Guler, while discussing measures taken at the Syrian border.

"In addition, we continue our efforts to strengthen and enhance the measures at our borders each year. For this reason, we have only increased the number of forces along the border with Syria. Currently, we do not see the need for any additional measures," the minister stated.
