The RPP (Republican People's Party) leadership's admiration for the Ba'ath dictators is as intriguing to us as it is to our nation.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this during his speech at the AKP congress in Erzurum.

"Did they also lose because the Ba'ath regime collapsed? What are they concerned about? We will reopen Turkiye's embassy in Damascus. We will stand by our brothers for the reconstruction of Syria," the Turkish leader stated.
