US President Donald Trump considers his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to be very cunning.

Axar.az informs that when asked whether Russian President Vladimir Putin would have to make any concessions in any deal to end the war in Ukraine, the US president replied: "Yes, he will."

Trump also called the Russian president "cunning" and noted that the Russian leader had no intention of ending the war in Ukraine until Trump was re-elected.

"If I had not been elected, he would have continued his activities in Ukraine. A lot of people would have died. If it were not for our technology, this war would have ended. I want it to end," Trump stressed.
