The Israeli army has prepared several options for a plan to resume fighting in Gaza if the ceasefire is not extended.

Axar.az informs that the Washington Post reported this, citing officials from the Jewish state.

The source said that the new plan places special emphasis on conducting more intensive military operations and preventing humanitarian aid from falling into the hands of Hamas:

“As part of the plan, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has ordered soldiers to explore the possibility of potentially taking control of and distributing humanitarian aid entering Gaza.”

It is noted that Katz’s predecessor, Yoav Galant, opposed the idea of controlling the flow of aid for operational and legal reasons.
