Barak arrived in Beirut to discuss Hezbollah disarmament

U.S. Special Envoy for the Middle East Tom Barak has arrived in Beirut to discuss a disarmament timeline for the Hezbollah movement as part of a proposed peace plan with the Lebanese leadership.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the newspaper Asharq al-Awsat.

It was noted that the American diplomat will hold meetings with President Joseph Aoun, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam.
