ISIS militants entered the Sukhnah district which is in the west of Ez Zor and east of Palmira. They made a bloody attack to the Assad regime’s soldiers and occupied the whole of the city again.

Axar.az reports, according to the local media:

Assad regime’s soldiers yesterday entered into the city from the south side. News published by the regime media that Sukne city is completely taken over. But the things didn’t go well for regime soldiers so that, ISIS militants started skirmish against regime soldiers. Militants trapped them in the streets so, they can’t have air support. Local media reports that 40 soldiers have been killed by ISIS militants.
