President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev phoned President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on April 6.

According to the official information the sides discussed the recent events on the line of contact of the Armenian and Azerbaijani troops and situation after cease-fire was reached on the frontline. The importance of peacefully solving the conflict through the OSCE Minsk Group based on international law was emphasized during the phone conversation.

The heads of states also exchanged views over the bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields.
