An Azerbaijani serviceman was injured as a result of Armenian provocation.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

The incident took place at a combat post in Aghdam village of Tovuz region.

The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan said that the ceasefire was violated again by the Armenian armed forces, which continue to commit crimes against peace and humanity by committing acts of aggression.

As a result, soldier Gurbanov Gurban Azad oglu received a "blind shrapnel wound in the right shoulder."

The Shamkir military prosecutor's office launched a criminal case under Articles 100.2 (waging an aggressive war) and 29, 120.2.12 (attempted murder with intent to incite national, racial, religious hatred or enmity) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
