As the Azerbaijani Army conducts successful operations in Nagorno-Karabakh, companies making illegal profits in the occupied territories are alarmed.

Axar.az informs this was reported by Yeni Safak portal.

It is reported that one of the first of these companies is Russian company GeoProMining Gold:

"99 per cent of the gold mines in Kalbajar are illegally appropriated by a Russian company. It is stated that the gold reserves are more than 112 tons. The Russian company extracts gold from here and transports it to different parts of the world.

According to the latest information from the region, GeoProMining Gold does not want to give up its multibillion-dollar gold mines easily. It is claimed that the company, which has been running the gold deposits in Kalbajar for many years, is trying to prevent the complete liberation of the region by collecting a large number of weapons and mercenaries."
