White phosphorus shell fired by Armenia was neutralized

A white phosphorus projectile fired by Armenia into the Fizuli region during the Second Karabakh War was neutralized.

The statement came from Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, on Twitter.

"A white phosphorus shell fired by Armenia was neutralized in front of the cameras of the international media in the Fizuli region. The use of white phosphorus is prohibited," he added.
