The commission set up by the relevant order of the Minister of Defense, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, was not authorized to issue a "veteran's name" or "veteran's booklet" in order to receive the demobilized persons, ensure their timely and objective consideration.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Defense Ministry spokesman Anar Eyvazov.

"Therefore, we ask our citizens not to apply in this regard," the ministry official said.
