The volume of Russia’s supplies of food and agricultural products to Azerbaijan amounts to approximately $800 million per year on average.

Axar.az reports that the head of the Azerbaijan office of the Russian Export Center JSC, Nuri Guliyev, made the remarks.

He said that products of the agro-industrial complex and food industry remain the main driving force of Russia’s exports to Azerbaijan.

“Statistics is a very precise science, and it shows that the locomotive of Russia’s exports to Azerbaijan is undoubtedly agricultural and food products. On average, about $800 million of Russian exports annually is accounted for by the Republic of Azerbaijan,” he noted.
