Azerbaijan’s gas transit via trunk pipelines up 2.4%

During the first seven months of the year (January–July), 23,989.9 million cubic meters of natural gas were transported through Azerbaijan’s trunk gas pipelines, representing a 2.4% increase compared to the same period last year.

Axar.az reports that according to the State Statistical Committee, the Baku–Tbilisi–Erzurum (South Caucasus Pipeline) carried the primary share of transit, accounting for 55.8% of the total volume – equivalent to 13,385.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
