Azerbaijan's gas output to reach 16.3 bcm in 2027

Azerbaijan's natural gas production is expected to increase by 239.2 million cubic metres, or 1.5%, to 16.3 billion cubic metres next year compared with the forecast for 2026.

Axar.az reports that the projection is included in the 2027 state budget package. Diesel fuel production is also expected to grow by 115,400 tonnes, or 5%.

The budget documents further anticipate additional tax liabilities as a result of an expansion in turnover subject to value-added tax (VAT).
