Southern Gas Corridor to attract $7B

The Southern Gas Corridor intends to attract $7 billion, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said on May 11.

“We work with all banks. As you know, the Southern Gas Corridor has attracted $1 billion. $1.5 billion is expected to be attracted by the year-end. We cooperate with the European Investment Bank, European Bank for reconstruction and Development, Asian Development Bank. Generally, we intend to attract up to $7 billion cheap and long-term funds. I believe the process will be carried out normally”, Abdullayev said.
