Azerbaijan became symbol of the Caspian region, Azerbaijan`s Minister of Energy Natig Aliyev told while commenting on the TAP groundbreaking ceremony in Thessaloniki, Greece.

`Azerbaijan is the only country delivering natural gas from Caspian region to Europe. We established a new South gas corridor. This is not an ordinary gas pipeline. Natural gas came from `Shahdeniz` field will pass through the new corridor`, the minister said.
