Armenia's economy is collapsing, the real estate market is collapsing, people are losing income, and poverty is deepening.
Axar.az reports that the statement came from Armenian political scientist Akop Kocharyan.
"It is difficult to say how much of all the risks associated with increasing the tax burden on the property have been calculated, but its economic and social consequences will be just as serious. However, the government does not intend to take this reality into account. Today, the socio-economic situation in Armenia is worse than two years ago. Jobs are shrinking, poverty is deepening, incomes are falling. In this situation, the government imposes new tax obligations on people. This is just the beginning. New surprises are expected in the near future," he said.
