The price of cigarettes in the country has dropped

Several cigarette prices have dropped in Azerbaijan.

Japan Tobacco International told that the prices of “Winston”, “Sobranie” and “Camel” cigarettes have fallen.

Moreover, the price of “More” cigarette dropped to AZN 1.2 two weeks ago.

“Winston” fell from AZN 3.3 to AZN 2.8, “Sobranie” (large) dropped from AZN 7 to AZN 5 and “Camel” went down from AZN 3.5 to AZN 3.

“The decline in prices was caused by low purchase power of the consumers. They try to buy cheaper cigarettes that most of them are imported by smuggling”, the company said.
