Romania wants to buy gas from Azerbaijan

"Cotidianul", a very influential Romanian newspaper, with reference to the energy minister of the country, Virgil Daniel Popescu, notes that his country intends to continue supplying gas from Azerbaijan in 2024.

Axar.az informs that the article states that after 2024, it is planned to continue cooperation between the two countries not only through the conclusion of new gas supply contracts, but also through other potential projects of mutual interest.

It should be noted that on February 3, 2023, during the meeting of the Consultative Council on the Southern Gas Corridor in Baku, SOCAR and the Romanian energy company "Romgaz S.A."
