India’s low-cost air carrier Go Airlines Ltd. (GoAir) has obtained permission to carry out flights to nine states, including Azerbaijan, Indian media reported.

GoAir, which is based in Mumbai, has obtained permission to carry out regular passenger flights to Azerbaijan, Iran, China, Vietnam, the Maldives, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, starting from March 2017.

“GoAir obtained permission to carry out regular passenger flights from Mumbai or Delhi to Baku three times a week,” said the reports.

GoAir is owned by India’s Wadia Group and carries out flights since November 2005.
