Bitcoin hits $90K

Over the past 24 hours, the price of bitcoin has risen sharply, exceeding the $90,000 mark for the first time since March. According to trading platforms, as of April 22, the value of the cryptocurrency has increased by 2.54 percent to $90,470.

Axar.az reports that the value of bitcoin is equal to 25.6 ounces of gold.

Over the past two weeks, the price of gold has increased by 10 percent due to trade tensions between the United States and China. As a result, the ratio between bitcoin and gold has returned to the level observed in November 2024, before the US presidential elections.

Experts from Euler Analytical Technologies say that against the backdrop of uncertainty in the markets, investors are again turning to cryptocurrencies as a protective asset. This trend has led to the restoration of the value of bitcoin against gold.
