An earthquake has occurred in the Caspian Sea.

Axar.az reports that this information was provided by the Republican Seismological Service Center.

The earthquake, measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale, was recorded on October 23 at 11:57 PM local time.

The depth of the earthquake's focus was 45 kilometers.
