Rwandan President Paul Kagame got acquainted with the activities of the ASAN service center as part of his official visit to Azerbaijan on September 20.
Axar.az was informed about this by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It was reported that the Chairman of the Agency, Ulvi Mehdiyev, provided the guest with detailed information about the ASAN service centers established on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev and the projects implemented in the direction of social innovations:
"It was brought to your attention that an agreement has been signed with more than 30 countries and international organizations to export our national brand, ASAN, as an intellectual product. The United Nations evaluates the "ASAN service" concept, which has become an international brand of Azerbaijan, as the best model and promotes it on four continents."
In order to share the ASAN service experience with the Rwandan side, cooperation relations were established based on the results of the meeting between the President of Rwanda and the President of Azerbaijan, who visited Azerbaijan to participate in COP29 in November 2024.
In this context, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the State Agency and the relevant institution of Rwanda in June of this year.
