Famous Turkish Yesilçam actress Hulya Kocyigit, along with actors Berk Ogtay, Anil Altan, and actress Duygu Sonmez, visited Baku as part of the Turkiye-Azerbaijan Turkish Film Days.

Axar.az informs the actress met with people at the Baku branch of Turkiye’s Yunus Emre Institute.

Hulya Kocyigit shared her impressions of Baku:

“I couldn’t visit Baku in previous years. I always asked our Ministry of Culture to take me here because we share the same feelings and watch the same films. I’m very happy to meet you today. It’s wonderful that the film industry brings us together. Through my films, I’ve shared the love in my heart with you, and now we are together again—it makes me so happy!” she said.

Actor Berk Ogtay commemorated all martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, especially national hero Mübariz İbrahimov.

He also praised the city, saying it is very beautiful and clean:

“There is no difference among people. We are one nation.”
