President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the Victory in the Patriotic War.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev laid a wreath at the grave of the Great Leader and paid tribute to his memory.

Then, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva paid tribute to the memory of the Great Leader.

The head of state and the first lady paid tribute to the life-long companion of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, and laid bouquets on her grave.

The memories of well-known statesmen, Aziz Aliyev and Professor Tamerlan Aliyev, were also commemorated.
