On February 20, at the Quirinale Palace in Rome, a state dinner was held in honor of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on behalf of Italian President Sergio Mattarella.

Axar.az reports that First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva and Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva also attended the reception.

The Heads of State made a speech at the reception.

Then a concert program was held at the Quirinale Palace to mark the opening of the 2020 Year of Azerbaijani Culture in Italy.

At the concert, the Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra performed works by prominent Azerbaijani and Italian composers.
