Ilham Aliyev and his wife planted a tree in Baku -

On May 10, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva planted a tree on the territory of the former iodine-bromine plant in the Surakhani district of Baku on the occasion of the birthday of great leader Heydar Aliyev.

Axar.az informs that, according to the President's instructions, starting from 2018, 167 hectares of land in this area will be cleaned and restored from produced water, oil, salt, iodine and other wastes.
