World-famous photojournalist Reza Deghati shared photos of the work done at Fuzuli International Airport on his Instagram account.

Axar.az reports that R. Deghati shared: “I have been taking photos of the devastation that took place during the occupation of Karabakh since October 2020, since 1992. But I haven't been able to shoot half of it yet. Meanwhile, reconstruction work and new plans, which began almost immediately, show a bright future for the region.

The main obstacle is the millions of landmines planted by Armenian forces, and even after signing the tripartite agreement, the Armenian government refuses to issue mine maps, which violates all international law, killing civilians and delaying reconstruction.

But the ongoing work here is truly a miracle, and nowhere, like Fuzuli airport, is it being built in a few months.

The first plane will land here on September 5! Keep watching the page for more "Karabakh Renaissance" stories. "
