Today, Ambassador Litzenberger was proud to participate in the groundbreaking of a new tourism location in Red Village alongside Israeli Ambassador George Deek.

Axar.az reports that this project, which is supported by USAID/Azerbaijan, Azərbaycanda İsrail - Israel in Azerbaijan, and Heydar Aliyev Foundation will create increased cultural tourism to the home of the Mountain Jews, a beloved community in the Guba region. We are delighted to take part in the cultural preservation of Red Village, and we look forward to its further development as a place to learn about the history of this important community.
