During the earthquake in Turkiye, the historic Gaziantep fortress was destroyed.

Axar.az reports that the Turkish media shared the information.

It should be noted that the fortress in question was used for the purpose of observation during the Ancient Roman Empire. The castle has been restored several times throughout history.

Tonight there was a 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Kahramanmaras, Turkiye. The natural disaster caused destruction and casualties.
