Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Kasapoglu has visited Armenia to watch the match of the 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024) qualifying round between Armenia and Türkiye.

Axar.az reports citing Turkish press.

The last time in 2008, the 11th president of Türkiye, Abdullah Gül, visited Yerevan due to the football match between Armenia and Türkiye. After 15 years, the first visit at the ministerial level is being held again because of the football match between the two countries.
