The US ambassador to Yerevan, Kristina Kvien, came to the village of Dig and got acquainted with the situation at the border.

Axar.az reports that the ambassador wrote about this on his Twitter page.

"During a visit to the Western Zangezur (Syunik) region, local officials, representatives of civil society and residents talked about security problems. I myself saw that the situation at the border is tense. Everyone deserves the protection and security that will bring lasting and just peace," the ambassador said.
