On July 21, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev viewed the progress of construction works carried out in the 960-seat Shusha city secondary school No 1.

Axar.az reports that the head of state was informed about the work done.

The school has 40 classrooms for 24 people each, 2 physics, 2 chemistry, 2 biology, 2 technology, 2 informatics rooms, 1 STEAM centre, library and reading room, primary military training for young people, art and music rooms, medicine room, examination room, canteen, as well as act and gym halls, work rooms for administrative staff.

The construction of a football field, a transformer, a private boiler room, a water pool and other necessary auxiliary buildings has been completed on the one-hectare area allocated for the school.
