The US Secretary of State met with President Volodymyr Zelensky within the framework of his visit to Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine.

It was noted that at the meeting, Zelensky thanked Blinken for the assistance provided by the United States to Ukraine, especially in the field of energy. The president noted that a hard winter awaits Ukraine, but he is sure that Ukrainians will be able to pass this test.

Blinken, for his part, stressed that he was glad to see Zelensky and his team. According to him, US President Joe Biden asked him to visit Kyiv to confirm America's support for Ukraine, including to state that his country has maximized its efforts.
