Turkiye's ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahid Bagchi participated in the funeral ceremony of police sergeant Asim Jamalzade, who was killed on September 19 as a result of a terrorist act caused by the explosion of a mine placed in Khojavand by the sabotage group of illegal Armenian armed forces.

Axar.az reports that the ambassador wrote about this in X.

C. Bagchi expressed his condolences to the deceased's father, brothers, relatives and comrades-in-arms.

"May God have mercy on him, may his place be heaven. Long live the Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood," the diplomat said.
