Armenian pub in Khankendi: Door stolen from the mosque

The door of the pub-restaurant belonging to an Armenian businessman in Khankendi was brought from the Shahbulag fortress of Aghdam.

Axar.az informs that this was noted by historian scientist, and associate professor Zaur Aliyev.

Alim said that the door used in the pub is the door of the ancient mosque in Shahbulag Castle:

"After the occupation by Armenians in 1993, the mosque, bathhouse, Khan's palace, and some residential houses inside the complex were demolished and used for various purposes. This destroyed mosque belonged to 1752."

Scientist also emphasized that the Armenians deliberately left the door of the mosque open, the aim here is to insult the Islamic religion.
