The activities of the Action Plan for 2023-2024 between the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Border Service of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation are being successfully continued.

Within the framework of the events, on October 4-6, the border guard ship "Rasul Hamzatov" made a friendly visit to the port of Baku under the leadership of Vice Admiral R. Tolok, Deputy Head of the Border Service of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation - Head of the Coast Guard Department.
During the visit, the Russian delegation was received by the head of the State Border Service, Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev.
At the meeting, the successful development of cooperation between the border protection agencies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation in the field of border security in the Caspian Sea, protection of biological resources, fight against illegal activities was noted, and views on the prospects of mutual relations were exchanged.
On October 6, with the participation of the border guard ship "Rasul Hamzatov" of the Russian Federation and ships and boats of the Coast Guard of the State Border Service, the rules for detecting illegal activity, tracking and keeping a conditional target, as well as information exchange were clarified in the Caspian Sea.
During the visit, a friendly football match was held between the representatives of the Azerbaijani and Russian Coast Guards at the "Sarhadchi" Sports Olympic Center, and the border guard ships of the parties were visited on a mutual basis.
