President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy honoured another Azerbaijani serviceman of the Armed Forces who died in the battles.

Axar.az reports that the President of Ukraine awarded the Azerbaijani soldier of the Armed Forces Elvin Ilgar oglu Novruzov with the "For Bravery" order after his death.

Originally from the Bilasuvar region of Azerbaijan, Elvin Novruzov was born and raised in Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine. Our compatriot, who participated in the war from the first days of the large-scale war in Ukraine, died heroically in the battles around Bakhmut earlier this year.

It should be noted that the President of Ukraine awarded several servicemen of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijani origin. Elvin Novruzov is the first Azerbaijani soldier to be awarded posthumously.
