Fuzuli City Day was solemnly celebrated.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Ministry of Culture.

It was reported that by the decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on July 31, 2023, city days were established in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to the decree, October 17 is Fizuli City Day. On this occasion, a solemn city day event was held in Fuzuli on October 17, jointly organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Ministry of Culture and the special representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Karabakh economic region.

The event was attended by state and government officials, MPs, representatives of the diplomatic corps and other guests.

He met with a group of Fuzuli residents who had returned to their homeland since August and had a sincere conversation.

Then a large gala concert of Fuzuli City Day was presented. Folk and composer songs were performed by well-known artists.

"My country, my country, my country, my country!" dedicated to the genius Azerbaijani poet Muhammad Fuzuli, "National leader Heydar Aliyev and Fuzuli", "Fuzuli region - before the occupation and after the occupation", as well as the material culture discovered from the Yedditape mounds archaeological monument in the territory of Fuzuli there was an introduction to the exhibitions where the samples were placed.

Later, the guests visited the "Fuzuli" corner. Compositions made on the basis of various works of Muhammad Fuzuli were exhibited here, and the poet's poems were performed. The portrait of the genius poet was created by the artist.

The composition called "100 Tar" was presented at the venue of the event. The performance of 100 people, consisting of master tarzans, children, teenagers and young people, was received with interest.

Then the event participants and guests tasted samples of Azerbaijani national cuisine.
