The historic Galata tower in Istanbul is illuminated with the tricolour State Flag of Azerbaijan and paintings of Kharibbulbul. The initiative took place on the occasion of the anniversary of Azerbaijan's Victory Day and National Flag Day.

Axar.az reports that the laser lighting, which attracted the attention of the local population and tourists in the area, was repeated several times.

It should be noted that on November 8 and 9, the colours of the Azerbaijani flag were engraved on the "Fateh Sultan Mehmet" and "July 15 Martyrs" bridges that connect the two continents of Istanbul, one of the largest megacities in the world.

The illumination is carried out on the initiative of the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul and with the support of a number of state institutions of Turkiye.
