On December 26, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Axar.az reports that at the meeting, the successful development of bilateral friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus in various fields was once again noted with satisfaction, it was stated that there is a good potential for further expansion of our cooperation. It was emphasized that high-level meetings and contacts contribute to strengthening our relations.

The heads of state expressed their confidence that our relations will continue to strengthen and exchanged views on future contacts and prospects of our cooperation.
