The grave of Major General Polad Hashimov, the National Hero of Azerbaijan, was visited on his birthday.

It was reported that first, the memory of the National Leader of our people Heydar Aliyev and those who died for the territorial integrity of our country was commemorated with a minute of silence, and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played accompanied by a military orchestra.

At the event, which was attended by a group of officers of the Ministry of Defense and public representatives, the honorable life path of the National Hero was talked about, and it was specially emphasized that his life was an example for young officers.

It was brought to attention that Major General P. Hashimov was awarded with orders and medals by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the leadership of the Ministry of Defense for his distinguished military service.
