The German General Customs Office confirmed that American actor Arnold Schwarzenegger was detained in Munich.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was released at Munich airport a few hours after being detained during customs control for an expensive watch.

"Arnie is finally released and his first job is to light a cigar in the car," Bild wrote.

It is reported that Schwarzenegger was thoroughly interrogated, after which 35,000 euros were demanded from him: 26,000 per hour, 4,000 in taxes, and 5,000 in fines.

The situation has become difficult due to the lack of cash for the actor. As a result, the officer accompanied Schwarzenegger to the bank branch.

Although the actor himself tried to explain that he intended to sell the watch at a charity auction, his arguments were ignored.
