There are wide prospects for Azerbaijan to take advantage of the opportunities of the Turkish defense industry.
Axar.az reports that Hulusi Akar, chairman of the National Defense Commission of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye, said this at the reception of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku.
During the meeting, the agenda of dynamic cooperation between Azerbaijan and brother Turkiye, as well as issues of inter-parliamentary and security cooperation were widely discussed.
Greeting the delegation of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye, Minister J. Bayramov was pleased to emphasize the intensive development of strategic alliance relations between our brother countries and noted the importance of mutual visits for these relations. The minister also drew attention to the fact that the intensive working contacts between the state institutions of Azerbaijan and Turkiye greatly contribute to bilateral relations.
Within the framework of the Shusha Declaration, the parties emphasized the close cooperation between the two countries in all areas, especially security and army building, and the existence of a wide development potential of these relations.
In his turn, H. Akar expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and welcome and expressed his satisfaction with the level of mutual support our countries have shown to each other on all platforms, as well as the future prospects of inter-parliamentary relations.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
