Russians remove "Pantsir-S" air defense system used to down AZAL plane from Grozny.

Axar.az reports that this information was shared by historian Zaur Aliyev.

The historian also released a photo showing the removal of the "Pantsir-S" system, suggesting that this might have been done to erase evidence.

The "Pantsir-S" system was reportedly brought to Grozny after Ukrainian drones targeted the base of the "Akhmat" special forces.

It is worth noting that on December 25, an AZAL plane operating the Baku-Grozny route was struck by Russian air defense systems over Grozny’s airspace, sustaining significant damage. Denied landing permission, the aircraft diverted to Aktau but crashed near Aktau airport. Of the 67 people onboard, 38 lost their lives, and 29 survived.
