The welcome of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio during his visit to Canada has caused widespread discussion.

Axar.az reports that photos of the Secretary of State being welcomed at the airport have been shared on Internet resources.

In the photo, a small red carpet was laid on the ground, or more precisely, on a puddle, to welcome Marco Rubio as he got off the plane. The small size of the carpet was not met with any certainty on social networks. While some believed that this was a coincidence, many called this action a "diplomatic insult."
