Georgian leaders join Nowruz celebrations in Marneuli -

A Nowruz celebration was held in Marneuli, Georgia, where a large Azerbaijani community resides.

Axar.az according to Repоrt, the event was attended by Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, and other officials.

The festivities included a theatrical procession, a traditional bonfire lighting, sports competitions, a children's entertainment area, and a local business fair.

A concert is also planned as part of the celebration program.
