Today, the national flags at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Azerbaijan and at Ukrainian diplomatic missions around the world have been lowered in mourning for the victims of the horrific terrorist act carried out by Russia on April 13, 2025, in the city of Sumy.

Axar.az reports Ukrainian Ambassador Yuriy Husyev shared this on social media.

"Thirty-four people were killed and 117 injured. Our sincere condolences go out to the families and loved ones of the victims.

The Embassy has opened an electronic Book of Condolences, which will be available on April 14 and 15, 2025. Anyone wishing to express their sympathy may send an email to: [email protected]", he noted.
