The 2nd Turan International Film Festival took place in the Turkish city of Izmir.

Organized jointly by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s General Directorate of Cinema and TURKSOY, the festival featured films by 11 Azerbaijani directors: Phenomenon by Sevinc Mahmudova, Father’s Right by Nicat Qulam, Humay by Ruslan Ibrahimli, Long Road by Farid Karim, Breath by Elmar Bayramov, The Silent Land by Rana Ahmadova, Novruz by Erturan Najafi Qol, Khan’s Daughter by Fakhriyyah Khalafova, The Green by Inci Gurban, My Unquenchable Crescent by Kovsar Gurban, and You’ve Got Mail by Mazahir Hashimov.
Held under the theme “Golden Apple,” the festival aimed to showcase the richness and cultural ties of the Turkic world through cinema.
